I've heard that it's sometimes cheaper to pay for trips etc in Sterling as opposed to local currency. Is this true ?, is Sterling universaly accepted ?, is it realy so much cheaper to make it worthwhile ? It's our first time in Turkey so any advice would be very gratefully received.
